Product Range

10G SFP+ Product Range

From short-reach TOR links to long-haul metro and WAN connections, our 10G SFP+ module range covers every distance and fiber type. Every module is coded for OEM compatibility and tested against MSA standards.

10G SFP+ SR / LR / ER / ZR

SR for short MMF links inside racks; LR, ER and ZR for single-mode links across campus, metro aggregation, and ISP backhaul up to 40+ km.

Applications

10G Applications for ISPs and Enterprise Networks

As a dedicated 10G SFP+ supplier for ISPs and enterprise teams, we understand real deployment scenarios. Here is how customers typically use our 10G optics.

Access & Aggregation for ISPs

Use 10G SFP+ LR and ER modules to upgrade access and aggregation nodes from 1G to 10G, increasing bandwidth to base stations, street cabinets, and regional POPs. Combine with CWDM/DWDM SFP+ to scale metro rings without deploying new fiber.

Campus & Enterprise Upgrades

Upgrade aggregation and core links between access, distribution, and core switches with 10G SFP+ SR and LR modules. BiDi optics handle single-fiber inter-building links efficiently, keeping 10G rollout costs predictable.

Data Center TOR and Storage

Deploy 10G SFP+ SR and DAC cables for TOR switch-to-server and switch-to-storage links within each rack. Use LR or DWDM SFP+ for spine-leaf uplinks and inter-row connectivity on single-mode fiber.

Selection Guide

Technical Specs & How to Choose

Choosing the right 10G SFP+ transceiver depends on distance, fiber type, and switching platform. Here is a quick reference from our 10G SFP+ transceiver manufacturer team.

SR vs LR vs ER vs ZR

SR covers up to a few hundred meters on MMF (850 nm). LR reaches ~10 km on SMF at 1310 nm. ER extends to ~40 km at 1550 nm for metro backhaul. ZR goes beyond 40 km for regional links.

When to Use BiDi

Use BiDi 10G SFP+ when only one fiber strand is available between endpoints. Paired Tx/Rx wavelengths (e.g. 1270/1330 nm) let you run full-duplex 10G over a single SMF fiber.

When to Use CWDM/DWDM

Use CWDM or DWDM SFP+ when you need to run multiple 10G channels over one fiber pair. CWDM suits regional ISP rings; DWDM suits high-density long-haul and carrier backbone builds.

10GBASE-T vs Fiber SFP+

10GBASE-T copper SFP+ reuses existing Cat6a cabling and suits short server-to-switch runs up to ~30 m, but consumes more power. Fiber 10G SFP+ modules provide longer reach, lower latency, and higher port density for spine and backbone links.

Type Fiber Distance Use Case
SR MMF ~300 m TOR, rack-to-rack
LR SMF ~10 km Campus, enterprise core
ER SMF ~40 km Metro aggregation, ISP backhaul
ZR SMF 80 km+ Long-haul, regional links
BiDi SMF ~10 km Single-fiber access links
CWDM SMF ~40 km Metro WDM rings
DWDM SMF 80 km+ High-capacity backbone
10GBASE-T Copper ~30 m Server access, legacy cabling
